Specializing in mechanical design and simulation, LEO takes your prompts from within SOLIDWORKS Design to generate assembly structures, convert images to mesh, add parametric features to STEP files, run simulation studies, evaluate assemblies, and resolve design errors.

Intoduction to Cloud Services
From July 2023, all new licenses of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, Perpetual and Term, include new capabilities in the form of “Cloud Services.”
Customers now can now leverage a fully cloud-based data management tool for storing and retrieving designs, collaborating and sharing with customers and suppliers, as well as implementing robust cloud-based revision control.
Managing your data on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform removes the need for costly servers and the processes that come with them.
For existing customers, there is a low-cost upgrade available to add Cloud Services to your current license subscription(s).
How much of Cloud Services you leverage is entirely up to you. We have segmented 3 levels of adoption – see right.
Share and Markup
The Share and Markup feature gives the ability to extend invitations to individuals of your choice, allowing them to access and annotate your 3D designs through the cloud with no need for downloads – any device with a browser will do.
This is major upgrade from eDrawings, as it requires no installation and no lengthy email feedback loops.
You can send the link without ever leaving your SOLIDWORKS Session! Streamline the collaborative process by granting others the ability to review and provide input, directly on your 3D models in real time.

Store and Revise
Cloud Services provides you with online storage specifically designed to manage CAD file relationships and streamline collaboration.
It automatically manages CAD file references, dependencies, and captures custom properties.
If you work as part of team, rest assured – you can simply check out the file and for modifications, ensuring no one can overwrite your work.
Much like traditional PDM, you can bump to a new revision when you’re ready and check the file back in, sharing the updates with your colleagues, giving full traceability of the file history.
