Windows 10 Support Ending Soon: What does it mean for SOLIDWORKS?
The Coundown for Windows 10 is on. Official support for Windows 10 ends on 14 October 2025, meaning Microsoft will no longer offer fixes, new features or security updates after that date. Unless you take action, you'll be vulnerable to hackers. However, if you make the leap to Windows 11, your current SOLIDWORKS license might face compatibility issues and performance drawbacks.

Installing SOLIDWORKS on your Desktop
If you’ve recently purchase a SOLIDWORKS license or are installing your existing license onto a new machine, you’ll need to download the installation files and activate the license with your serial number. The first step is to download the installation manager for the version you require. For customers on an active subscription, you can access the last 3 releases from the SOLIDWORKS Download Page
